I Care Because…

People's feelings matter and everyone should be comfortable and happy at school/around people their age no matter who they are.

I care because these things can actually hurt people. Though we may not realize it, the kids who are being bullied really feel it. Their negative moods can spread to their friends, and they may accidentally take out their feelings on others.

I care about stopping bullying because I think that everyone should be treated equally and kindly. Also, if the people who bully felt the same as the people they were bullying, they would want it to stop because they wouldn't like how that felt. I care because everyone should be treated equally and with respect.

Words have heavy meaning, and as someone who was once teased about something very small, I know how it can affect you. Even bigger problems can have a more long term affect and therefore I think that people need to think more before they speak, even if its a joke.

I don't want people to feel any less than what they are. I also don't want them to feel like they don't belong, or they aren't enough. It feels horrible when you get bullied, or even if it's just one time where someone is mean. Bullying can change so much about someone, and it's not ok that it happens.

I care because I think everyone should care for each other and make a difference in this world

I care about putting an end to bullying because I don't want to see students feeling depressed and feeling bad about themselves at school. I don't want them to feel discouraged just because a bully hurt them to make themselves feel like they have more power. I care about putting an end to bullying so students don't have to suffer through it everyday. I care because bullying is rude, hurtful and just plain mean. I care because I know I wouldn't ever want to be bullied and I don't want others to have to experience that.

I want to make the world bullying free which means having a world where people can feel good about themselves and happy.
