I Care Because…

  • I care because bullying can hurt someone a lot they can harm themselves and that is why I care

  • I care because no kid should have to be constantly hurt mentally or physically. everyone should be treated equally no matter what unless they have done something bad themselves.

    Alexander — 12
  • I care because I know what it's like to be bullied, believe it or not I was bullied a year ago- it isn't a good feeling and I'm glad it stopped. But it is still awful that kids think they can bully people and there aren't consequences for their actions or they think that it's OKAY that they were bullying people.

    Brooke — 11
  • I care about bullying because I know I wouldn't want to be bullied so I know other children my age wouldn't want it to happen to them too.

  • I care because there is NO reason to bully. There's no reason to hurt someone because they're different or because you have some problems at home or something. Everyone is equal, and no one deserves to be hurt. Everyone is unique, but we're all the same. We all have feelings. Feelings that don't deserve to be hurt.

    Inara — 11
  • I don't want it to happen to me

  • Our world will be so much different if we just be kind to one another. Treat everyone as equal, don’t judge anyone, and don’t bully because your not going to get anything out of it. You would just get punished at the end of it. I would say keep your mean thoughts to yourself and just be kind.

  • bullying is a very bad thing it can hurt people and change the way they look at the world for their entire life, it can make them care more about surviving a day at school instead of how good their grades are. It can also do so much more than just those two things.

    Ramona — 11
  • I care because stopping bullying will help a lot of people and can improve the world.

    Marcus — 11
  • I care because most people claim that it was just a phase, yet we are beginning to understand the full effects of bullying as having long-term implications. There are many myths surrounding bullying that have led most of society to turn their cheek to the problem. With the increasing use of social networking sites like facebook, the development of cyber-bullying has forced parents, teachers, and law enforcement to re-evaluate what it means to be a bully and a victim. Bullies come in all shapes and sizes, and many parents are not even aware that their child may be a bully.
