I Care Because…

Nobody deserves to feel unhappy with themselves especially if it is caused by another person's words.

people feel like they belong and feel more accepted

I care because i understand what it feels like to be bullied and I don´t want anyone to ever feel the way I did.

I care because it can prevent from teens from getting bullied.

everybody's feelings matter

I want to be in a community where everyone is accepted for who they are and no one judges or makes fun of others.

I care because bullying can cause a long-term impact on someone's mental health and negative comments can affect their way of life.

I care because I have been in an environment where bullying was taking place. Whether it was against me, or even someone I don't even know, I care for the person who is being affected because nobody deserves to be treated unfairly because of some reason that some people think is "right." Bullying should not even exist especially in school where it should be a learning space, not a place where people do not feel safe.
